Applications

Kitchen Stone Surfaces

Kitchens put the most demand on stone. Edges, sink cutouts and cooktop areas see the most damage.

Practical use cases

  • Chipped edges near the dishwasher and sink
  • Cracks at narrow spans between cutouts
  • Seams that open across an island
  • Heat and cleaner damage on high use zones
  • Full countertop replacement during a remodel

Material considerations

Quartz resists staining but reacts to heat. Granite handles heat well and benefits from sealing checks. Marble is the most reactive to acidic spills common in kitchens.

Maintenance

Use trivets, wipe acidic spills quickly and avoid abrasive or bleach based cleaners. We leave material specific instructions after each visit.
