The assessment process
- 1

We leave care instructions specific to your surface.
What to prepare
- Material and finish, polished or honed if known
- Photos in daylight and under room lighting
- Cleaners currently used on the surface
- Approximate age of the installation
- Rooms and square footage involved
Etching and staining behave differently. Marble reacts to acids, quartz reacts to heat and harsh cleaners, and each needs its own approach.
FAQ
- Does quartz need sealing?
- Engineered quartz is non porous and generally does not require sealing. Care focuses on cleaning method and heat protection.
- How often should granite be sealed?
- It depends on the slab, the finish and how the surface is used. We check absorption on site before recommending a schedule.
- Can marble etching be removed?
- Light etching can often be improved. Deeper damage may require refinishing, and we assess the surface before committing.
