Quartz, Marble and Granite Maintenance

Maintenance that keeps stone surfaces looking correct for the material, with honest guidance on what each finish needs.

Materials we work with

  • Quartz
  • Marble
  • Granite
  • Tile

Common situations

  • Marble that has etched, dulled or picked up water marks
  • Granite that needs sealing guidance
  • Quartz with buildup, film or residue from cleaners
  • Tile and grout that no longer reads clean
  • Surfaces being prepared for a sale, listing or handover

The assessment process

  1. 1

Tell us the material, the finish and what you are seeing.

  2. 2

We confirm whether the issue is surface level or deeper.

  3. 3

We recommend the appropriate treatment for that material.

  4. 4

    We complete the maintenance work.

  5. 5

We leave care instructions specific to your surface.

What to prepare

  • Material and finish, polished or honed if known
  • Photos in daylight and under room lighting
  • Cleaners currently used on the surface
  • Approximate age of the installation
  • Rooms and square footage involved

Etching and staining behave differently. Marble reacts to acids, quartz reacts to heat and harsh cleaners, and each needs its own approach.

FAQ

Does quartz need sealing?
Engineered quartz is non porous and generally does not require sealing. Care focuses on cleaning method and heat protection.
How often should granite be sealed?
It depends on the slab, the finish and how the surface is used. We check absorption on site before recommending a schedule.
Can marble etching be removed?
Light etching can often be improved. Deeper damage may require refinishing, and we assess the surface before committing.
